Affiliate disclosure

Last updated October 14, 2026.

Cold Climate Heat is reader-supported. Some links on this site point to HVAC equipment retailers and other stores. These are, or may become, affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Current status

As of the date above, the site is not yet earning commissions through any affiliate program. Retailer links are already marked as sponsored in the page code, so nothing about how they're labeled will change when commissions begin. This page will be updated to name the programs once any are active.

If the site joins the Amazon Associates Program, this page will say so, as Amazon requires: "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases."

How we keep it honest

• Recommendations are based on published performance data and practical installation considerations, never on commission rates.
• Retailer links are marked in the code as sponsored and nofollow (rel="sponsored nofollow"), and pages that contain them say so near the top.
• We don't accept payment for positive reviews or rankings.
• If we ever receive free products, the page will say so.

Advertising

The site doesn't show ads today. If it does in the future, advertisers won't influence content, and this page and the privacy policy will be updated.
